About Us

True Northern Lighting started because we were unable to find high quality, affordable lighting made in Canada for a personal grow. Coming up short in the search, Dillon Hawthorn, the founder and CEO, decided to make his own. After numerous model changes, test runs, many meeting with our electrical engineer consultants and design changes, we finally came up with a light that is both high quality and affordable.
